The Tuatha Dé Danann, the people of the goddess Danu, came to Ireland cloaked in mist. Defeated, they did not leave: they went under the hills. Every Samhain, when the veil between the worlds wears thin, the mounds open.
Today their name watches over an ecosystem of agents. Three gods hold it, each to his own craft.
